Chiropractor hebden bridge

How can Hebden Bridge Chiropractic help you?

  • Do you have a back injury?

  • Do you suffer from back pain, sciatica, neck pain, headaches?

  • Are you pregnant?

  • Would you like to feel free from your every day aches and pains?

Chiropractic can help with all these things and more…

Chiropractic works on the simple principle that good spinal alignment leads to better health and less pain.

Treat the cause not the symptom
Any spinal misalignment or restriction interferes with your body's master controller i.e. the nervous system. The nervous system controls and regulates every single cell in your body, and interference to this important system has been proven to have a negative effect on health.

A Chiropractor will correct these spinal restrictions and aim to improve your body function, reduce pain and restore your health.

What can you expect at Hebden Bridge Chiropractic?
We will exceed your expectations as a health care provider. Our personalised service together with the friendly, relaxed atmosphere will make you feel comfortable and cared for from your first visit.

Expect us to take your problems seriously and spend the required time finding the right solution for you.

Who is Chiropractic for?
All kinds of problems can be helped by correcting spinal misalignments; back and leg pain, neck and arm pain, headaches and migraines, during pregnancy, the list is long.

Your Chiropractor will create an individual health plan for you, aiming to reduce these restrictions with a series of gentle adjustments across an affordable program of care.

What Chiropractic is not ...

  • Chiropractic is not a replacement for painkilling drugs. It is a natural way to stimulate your body to heal itself and this may take time.

  • Chiropractic is not unconventional. It is scientific and now a mainstream part of healthcare around the world. Thousands of people use chiropractors every day as a part of a good health regime.

At Hebden Bridge Chiropractic we have built a team of professionals who complement each other in their treatments. You may initially attend for chiropractic care and receive some treatment and then be referred to another therapist to continue your care such as remedial massage or craniosacral therapy. Or you may be recommended to alternative treatments. An individual plan of management will be proposed for you. You are the most important person and our aim is to get you to your optimum health whatever it takes. Similarly you may attend for an Indian Head Massage and after a consultation it may be suggested that you see the chiropractor. Of course, this is always your decision. These are examples of how we work together

At Hebden Bridge Chiropractic we have a special interest in looking after pregnant women, babies and children, with both Chiropractic care and Craniosacral Therapy.

If you have a question please e-mail Debbie or telephone the clinic on 01422 842244. If you leave a message we will always ring you back as soon as possible.

'...I came to you following six months of such severe sciatica that sometimes I could not move. [...] you said I'd notice a huge improvement within a month ... and here I am almost back to normal again. At an NHS appointment recently with a Consultant I was told that this level of improvement - 80% better - would not be expected within one year. "How did you do it" I was asked. Thank you, Debbie. You've made my life possible again' Glyn Hughes, West Yorkshire

'Just a note to thank you for giving me ‘my life back'. After years of on/off back pain and trying many types of treatment I had resigned myself to having to live with it until such time I was deemed a suitable candidate for surgery. After a particularly bad spell of pain which had plunged me into depression, I decided to try a chiropractor as a last ditch attempt to at least help the terrible sciatica. After a few visits to you Debbie, I am able to fully enjoy my passion for horses & riding again. I am virtually pain free and I have got my bounce back again!

No other treatment, physio, osteopathy, acupuncture, heat or tablets gave me the prolonged relief that chiropractic treatment has.

I tell everyone I teach they should at least get themselves checked out once a year to avoid possible damage that a very physical sport can inflict.

It's hard to express the gratitude I feel for what you have done but if this note convinces others that ‘you do exactly what you say on the tin', you'll be too busy to fit me in in the future.' Jacqui Clayton
