Debbie DinçDebbie Dinç - chiropractor
I developed an interest in Chiropractic after suffering a back injury in 1992. I spent nine months taking medication, resting and trying various treatments. Any benefit was only short term and within a week or two of treatment I was back to suffering pain again.

I came across Chiropractic when a chiropractor called Gareth Rhys came to work in the area. From my first visit I was converted. Dr Rhys carried out a thorough examination and then explained what the problem was in language I could understand. When he treated me I felt an immediate difference. This was what I had been looking for. The difference was that over the course of the treatment I improved as he had said that I would. Over the next few months I continued to improve and started rehabilitation exercises under Dr Rhys's careful supervision. Today I still have regular chiropractic care to keep my back in good condition.

I couldn't believe that I had not come across chiropractic before and was very frustrated about this.

I decided to train to become a chiropractor and to help other people in the way that I had been helped. I have an ambition to educate people about chiropractic and how it can change their lives.

I attended the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan where I studied for four years full-time to obtain a BSc(Hons) in Chiropractic. I continued studying over the fifth year whilst working at clinics in Preston and Wakefield to obtain a further diploma in Chiropractic and the title Doctor of Chiropractic. I am registered with the General Chiropractic Council and a member of both the British Chiropractic Association and College of Chiropractors. In the field of chiropractic I have a special interest in pregnancy and paediatrics.

I live in Hebden Bridge and wanted to bring Chiropractic to the people of the Calder Valley and surrounding area. I set up Hebden Bridge Chiropractic in 2003 and I am please to say that Chiropractic has been very well received in the area. Many patients come to Chiropractic through word of mouth from existing patients.

Aziz DinçAziz Dinç - Masseur & receptionist
I was born in Turkey where the culture is to have regular massage. It is traditional for the barber to give a head massage when you have a hair cut or shave. I have long enjoyed giving people massage and making them feel better and more relaxed. It felt natural therefore when I came to the UK to formalise my experience with qualifications.

I initially trained in Indian Head Massage and Swedish Massage. I then attended the No Hands® Massage Transforming Touch and Practitioner courses. I tend to combine different forms of massage to suit the person I am massaging.

I am also the full time receptionist at the clinic.

Kay ReynoldsKay Reynolds - Craniosacral & Remedial massage therapist
I trained and qualified in Remedial Massage from the Northern Institute of Massage in 1991. I then went on to study Craniosacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute and completed the advanced level in 1997.

I have run my own practice for the last seventeen years and have developed a mixed style of deep tissue massage, subtle Craniosacral work and counselling that encourages and facilitates change in order to bring about better health and vitality.

Individuality is the key to my work, discovering and uncovering what is needed in order for my clients to be themselves.

'Kay attracts clients because she has skills, ideas and experiences that work, helping them to improve the quality of their lives.' Pat, Shropshire .

'I would just like to thank you, Kay, for all the support and the fantastic treatments that you have given me recently. Your advice is sound and helpful. I know it's all going towards making me a fitter and 'back to normal' individual - whatever that is.' Carol, West Yorkshire.

Kate EmeryKate Emery - Sports and remedial massage therapist
I have spent a lifetime in healthcare, originally starting out in the pharmacy profession then moving into the field of anaesthetics, diagnostic testing and haemodialysis. Latterly I worked as a corporate consultant in healthcare, guiding companies through their healthcare needs and providing services such as occupational health and stress counselling for their employees.

I have always had an interest in the physiological benefits that massage provides. I initially qualified in holistic massage which gave me a greater appreciation of these benefits but felt that they were dramatically increased by using deep tissue techniques. This led me to train further and specialise in Sports & Remedial massage to enable me to provide greater benefits to my clients.

I trained with Pulse Training Solutions at the Oxford University Sports complex. I feel privileged to have been trained by Instructors who work with elite athletes and selflessly shared their exceptional skills with their students.

My work includes providing pre & post event sports massage when required, either personally for my clients or at the event venue on a charitable basis.
